Senior Citizen Advisory Board

Description
The members of the Senior Advisory Council are in charge of the operation of the Senior Center. They set up the activities at the Senior Center and arrange for Bus Trips to the Casinos. They are also in charge of setting the guidelines for the conduct of the people who attend the activities at the Senior Center.

Senior Center Information and Activities

The Washington Township Senior Center first opened in August of 1992.  You must be at least 55 years old and a resident of Washington Township in order to join the Center.  Membership Dues for the Center are $10.00 per year.

Some of the activities provided by the Center are Bingo, Bridge, Pinochle, Aerobics and Pool.  There are occasional Pool tournaments and Card Game tournaments.

Each year there is a Christmas Party and an Anniversary Party.

On Monday, Thursday and Friday, there is round trip bus transportation to the Senior Center so the Seniors can participate in the activities.  You must call ahead of time to our Parks and Recreation Department, at 589-3227, to schedule the ride.
